Bed Bugs
bed·bug
/ˈbedˌbəɡ/
noun
plural noun: bed-bugs
A bloodsucking bug which is a parasite of birds and mammals.
Bed bugs can lay 8-10 eggs every day. They can infest furniture so badly that the items have to be discarded due to bed bug fecal matter which totally damages anything from mattresses to sofas. Not only are they threats to your expensive mattress, they are also huge health risks.
Bed bugs feast at night or when a person is sitting/lying for a period - they prefer human blood over pet’s blood. Bed bugs are known to cause a number of problems: itching, inflammation, allergic reactions, bacterial infections, and insomnia. These bugs multiply rapidly and have hard exoskeletons, so they are a unique challenge to treat.
