In 1994, Tom Jackson founded Great Southern Exterminating, Inc., with his 45 years of pest control and termite control experience. Tom Jackson is a retired U.S. Marine, father of two daughters, and a member of The Georgia Pest Control Association. 

 

Tom's Love for his country and to serve his local community is why Tom Jackson founded Great Southern Exterminating. The company quickly became the leading protector of homes in Hinesville, Midway, Ludowici, and surrounding communities. This is due to Tom’s insistence and dedication on doing the job right the first time for his valuable, very Important customers. 

 

When Termidor® became the most effective termiticide/insecticide on the market, Great Southern was one of the early adopters. While bait stations were (and still are) the quick-fix approach for termite prevention, Tom Jackson was unwavering in his delivery of comprehensive treatments to mitigate termite risk. 

 

For decades & presently, Great Southern Exterminating's reputation is the best in the state of Georgia! This is due to Tom Jackson and his daughter, Donna Jackson Davis (New Owner),  providing very thorough termite & pest control treatments, providing strong customer service, and the best warranty in the state of Georgia. 

 

Tom's daughter, Donna Jackson Davis, is presently carrying on her father's torch and keeping his amazing reputation going strong! 

 

Donna Jackson Davis earned her DCO (Designated Certified Operator) license in February, 2014. She has served as the company’s manager since 2004. On October 27, 2023, Donna proudly became the owner of Great Southern Exterminating, Inc.

 

Donna is a born-again Christian who sees the exterminating industry as a platform to demonstrate the gospel in her daily work. She is also a Christian recording artist - her songs have been featured across the States on radio.

 

Donna Davis and her husband, Daniel Davis, manage Great Southern Exterminating as a team. They are the proud parents of seven children; and now, five grandchildren. This family business enjoys working with the amazing folks they meet while serving their local community of the Georgia coastal region.
